Dr. PJ Berner is the Lead Pastor of Compass Bible Church North Texas, a thriving congregation launched in 2023. His journey in pastoral ministry began after graduating from The Master’s College in 2006. Since then, he has pursued further theological education, earning a Th.M. from Dallas Theological Seminary in 2011 and a D.Min. from The Master’s Seminary in 2021.

In 2006, Berner married his beloved wife, Amanda, and together they have joyfully welcomed five children into their family: Joshua, Annie, Luke, Jon, and Sam. This growing family is a testament to Berner’s commitment to family values and biblical principles.

As the Lead Pastor of Compass Bible Church North Texas, Berner brings a depth of pastoral experience and a heart for ministry to his role. Under his leadership, the congregation has become a vibrant community of believers dedicated to biblical truth and spiritual growth.

Berner is committed to expository preaching and ensures that the Word of God is faithfully proclaimed, empowering believers to apply biblical principles. Additionally, he is actively involved in mentoring and discipleship, investing in the spiritual development of the church members.
